So, welcome back to 2026 at Stage Stars – and what a year it is going to be! We’re so delighted to see our membership numbers slowly increasing further, and hopefully getting back to a really fun and full class size again. We’re delighted to be able to announce our Summer Show is “Heart of Wonderland” which will be a World Premiere performance. We do however have some requests, and also some choices we’d like you’re help making, as details below.
Term Dates
The term dates for all of this year are now available on our website, including the possible show dates, and half term breaks. This Spring term will run from Thursday 8th January, until Thursday 2nd April. Our half term break will be the schools half term on Thursday 19th February, when there will be no Stage Stars session.
New Shows
This year we have continued to tighten a lot of things up, from our teaching to our technical. We have also made decisions as early as possible, and have already told you the possible dates of our shows for the next 12 months (more on this later).

Obviously, as always, there is chance this will change as we make sure we have definitely picked the best possible shows for our young people. However these are the shows we currently expect to do.
Hoodies
We know these were incredibly popular, and so we’re definitely bringing them back. We’ve been quoted £16 from a previous supplier we’ve worked with, so are expecting this to be the approximate price.
Show Dates
We can also confirm the possible dates for our shows in 2025 are as below. It is ESSENTIAL all students attend ALL dates for their show week so please can we ask you add these to your diary now – unfortunately we need to say that students missing rehearsals during show week are not able to take part in the show, as it is not fair on all the other students who also miss various clubs and activities during show weeks.
IMPORTANT: The dates for the Summer Show will likely include a change to our normal way of working. Due to a number of students and staff being unavailable, we are currently planning to hold performances on the Thursday and Friday of show week and NOT Saturday. We are unable to change the week. This is under consultation.

Once again, we are delighted to be able to confirm that, despite the cost of living rising, we have kept our prices the same for yet another year. This means the cost for a student attending Stage Stars, and paying termly, remains at just £40 for the whole term. Please use the table below to confirm the costs in your circumstances.

New Members
We are pleased to be able to once again be taking on new members. Please can we ask if you have any friends or family that may want to join you encourage them to do so. The more members we have, the more equipment we can get to make our shows continue to get better and the bigger and better we can make our classes and shows.
Helping Hand
Our costume store is looking in need of a little TLC at the moment. We are therefore asking our older members if they can spare a few hours one weekend to help us hang the remaining costumes, and help ‘ditch’ the costumes that we cannot possibly use again to give us some space to invest in new costumes for future shows. We’ll let you know when we have a definite date.
Online Portal
Please make sure if you haven’t already, you sign up to our online student management system. You’ll be able to manage all your payments, details, and this also integrates with our attendance, and emergency communication protocols.
Theatre Royal Shows
We have a limited number of tickets available for two shows in the Theatre Royal over the next year. Full details on our Facebook page, however we currently have tickets remaining for: Mrs Doubtfire and Cinderella (pantomime)
Auditions
Information on auditions is also on our Facebook page. Auditions must be submitted by Monday 19th ready for the virtual auditions taking place on Thursday 22nd January FROM 6.20PM NOT 6.00PM
